Group Therapy for Sexual Addiction

Need extra support in your recovery?

Still Water Professional Counseling provides group therapy for individuals who are looking for extra support either dealing with personal issues or coping with loved ones, family members or close friends who are struggling.

Sexual Addiction Group Information

We offer weekly group therapy for men struggling with sexual addiction and bi-monthly groups for women who are partners of sexual addicts. The groups are discussion-oriented and provide peer support as well as input and teaching from the group leader.

Topics for addiction groups include dealing with triggers, relapse prevention, and goal setting. Partners’ group topics focus on dealing with the trauma of betrayal, developing healthy boundaries, and navigating the future.

Groups offer a great opportunity to connect with others who are also dealing with issues associated with addiction in a safe and confidential setting. Group work has been clinically proven to be effective in the treatment of addiction.

Groups cost $40 per session. Addiction groups are held in person on the first and third Monday evenings of every month from 7:00–8:30 PM. We also offer an in-person group on the first and third Thursday mornings of every month from 8:00–9:00 AM. Additionally, there is a Zoom group that meets on the second and fourth Mondays via a telehealth link from 7:00–8:30 PM.

Partners’ groups meet on the first and third Mondays of the month from 6:30–8:00 PM via telehealth.

Please note, there will be no group meetings on fifth Mondays of the month, and there will be no group if the date falls on a holiday.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
