Carol Boothroyd

Registered Nurse, Licensed Professional Counselor, CSAT (Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist), Certified EMDR Therapist & Consultant, EFT trained, IFS Informed, LPC Supervisor

I find that some of the biggest barriers to healthy living are the day to day effects of unresolved trauma. Considering that trauma involves any stressful event that is prolonged, overwhelming, or unpredictable, we all deal with trauma to some degree. As a trauma therapist, I journey with my clients as they work through their darkest moments and discover the beauty of who God designed them to be.

Rob Boothroyd

Licensed Professional Counselor, CSAT (Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist), EMDR trained, EFT trained, IFS Level 1 Trained

In life we experience pain, disappointment, and betrayal, and it can be hard to trust. In response, we develop unhealthy habits in order to cope that make our problems even worse. My goal as a therapist is to establish a safe place for people to deal with their pain and the problems that have arisen as a result of their coping strategies.

Libbee Kelingos

Licensed Professional Counselor, EMDR Trained, EFT Trained, IFS Informed

It takes courage to share your heart, and I consider it an honor to create a space where you feel valued, safe, and accepted for who you are and where you are in your life. I express empathy, non-judgment, and compassion to gently help you find healing, wholeness, purpose, and meaning, as well as gain insight, and learn skills to help you develop your potential. Whether or not you choose to incorporate faith, I take a holistic therapeutic approach to collaboratively integrate the spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental aspects of who you are.

Jamie Wiklanski

Licensed Professional Counselor, EMDR Trained, Trained Board Member of Michigan EFT, LPC Supervisor

One of the most important and yet scary decisions we can make in life is to do the vulnerable work of dealing with the “inward me.” It can be scary to look at ourselves and our past honestly. Whether it is working on our own reactions, dealing with trauma from the past, or having difficulty in a relationship, doing the work of processing through our own thoughts, feelings, and reactions in life is incredibly rewarding and incredibly hard. But know this, just the fact that you are looking at doing that says that you are beginning the process of becoming a better version of you.

Rachel Ensign

Limited Licensed Professional Counselor, EMDR trained, EFT Informed, IFS Informed

Healing starts the moment a person begins to be heard. As a therapist, I take the necessary time to listen to clients, build positive rapport, and explore the barriers and traumas that are causing distress in all aspects of life. It is my goal to ensure people feel safe and comfortable expressing their emotions, problems, and pain in a therapeutic setting.

Andrea Prince

Limited Licensed Professional Counselor, EMDR Trained, EFT Informed

Change can be difficult, but there are times in our lives when it is necessary. You may not know where to begin, or you may feel like you don’t have the skills to make those changes. Forming new habits can be challenging. I want to partner with you to make those changes, but I understand that sharing about yourself can be difficult. I’m here to help make the process of change doable.

Kelli Smith

Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, EMDR trained, EFT informed, IFS Informed

Sometimes the waves of life can become overwhelming, and you can feel like you are losing your footing. Counseling is a transformative experience where you receive insight and have compassion for yourself. You are courageous to embark on this journey.

Becky Wiklanski

Master’s Degree in Social Work EMDR and EFT Trained

If I could share one thing with the people I encounter it would be “you are enough”. Sometimes life can be hard and it knocks us down, but my goal and hopes are to help people get back up. I spent the first 11 years of my career working for the State of Michigan as a foster care case manager. This position helped me realize my desire to be part of a solution which led me to my Master’s Degree in Social Work.

Courtney Pennington

LPC Student Intern, EMDR trained

Life is a rollercoaster filled with ups and downs and unexpected turns that catch you by surprise. You never know what will come next no matter how much you prepare, but having someone in your corner can make whatever life throws at you that much more manageable. My goal as a counselor is to ride the rollercoaster beside you so that you can have the best outcome possible. This is done by allowing yourself to be vulnerable as we explore your lived experiences together to understand what has made you the person you are today. Seeking counseling is a courageous step to healing and growth for your future.
